Never base your marketing decisions on price

June 9, 2015

If you are basing your marketing decisions on price, Keenability is not the right choice. Money alone should not be the deciding factor when hiring a marketing firm to generate business.

Have you considered that your marketing is responsible for driving ALL of your revenue? For such an important decision: “the cheapest” should not be the choice. In case you’ve never heard it, you get what you pay for. This is true in most cases: cars, service providers, clothes, and homes.

We aren’t competing with other South Florida marketing agencies to provide the lowest price; that is not the business we are in. We don’t care if the other two agencies you interviewed are offering you the same services at a 1/3 of the cost, we won’t match that price.

When a client hires us to execute their marketing or create their brand, it is because they want to invest in the value that comes along with hiring Keenability. If you are looking for the cheapest marketing firm, we won’t be it. The quality and value we offer far exceeds that of our closest competitors, so our prices tend to be higher.

Why do we charge more?

Simple. The talent we hire costs more. We work with the best. Our pool of skilled talent has proven their worth and their experience sets them apart. Another benefit of paying more is customer service. Because we have a substantial staff to meet our workload, we are able to make ourselves more readily available to our clients. This means that our clients can always access the CEO or COO directly at almost any time of the day or night. It also means not overworking our staff. Staff that is pressured and overworked doesn’t produce the caliber of results that you’d expect from us, thus we won’t do it. We employ the appropriate people to service our clients, and as the workload exceeds the number of staff members- we hire!

If you go with the lowest priced company, these are benefits that you won’t receive. You won’t be able to get the owner at a moment’s notice; you might not even get any one at all. It is likely that there is not enough staff. You also won’t have access to a team of superior staff members.

Oh, and did we mention that a low cost solution might mean sharing overworked staff members? In order for someone to make money by significantly undercutting their costs, the time spent on your project will be minimal. It also means that you are likely getting services by someone outside of the company that is charging pennies per blog. Is this the best representation of your company?

Before you make price the most significant factor, consider the implications.
